left to my own devices… i bake.
Yesterday Matt and a colleague worked on bikes all afternoon. Which means, left to my own devices, I made some cookies. I cook plenty of stuff that isn’t good for me, so I try not to bake cookies all that often because… well… I love cookies pretty much as much as I love the pugs. But, any excuse to use my neglected Kitchen Aid pretty much suits my fancy.
And like a good little house person, I brought some down to the boys on a little plate.
They were just a peanut butter cookie recipe that I added walnuts, chocolate chips, and toffee pieces to. Delicious. My company during this whole process?
Dad, I don’t know how I lived without this thing.
